What We Do
Music is more than just learning notes. Learning an instrument or playing in an orchestra teaches children discipline, self-esteem, team work and provides potential employment opportunities through the practice and perfection of a musical instrument.
The Child’s Play (India) Foundation works to bring classical music to underprivileged children in India. By doing so, we want to give children an opportunity to make music, learn a new skill and lead a life of empowerment.

Classes have begun in January 2010 and include lessons in violin and recorder (Flute).
In 2012, we will begin violin lessons for underprivileged children in Kolkatta.
