*'Tocar y Luchar' - a screening

A screening of the award winning 'Tocar y Luchar' (To Play and To Fight) was held at the Xavier Centre of Historical Research, Porvorim on 19 June 2010, 5.30 pm. The audience responded enthusiastically to this inspiring documentary and we have had requests to screen the film elsewhere as well.

Flamenco Workshop

Experienced flamenco dance instructor Sanna Lehtinen conducted a 2 hour workshop on Monday 21 December 2009 at Casa da Moeda,Panjim Goa, in support of Child's Play.








World Busk (8-14 June 2009)

We participated in Musequality's World Busk  by busking at various venues to raise funds for our project. Luis and friends busked at the Taj Hotel and Literati bookshop to an enthusiastic audience. We raised over 4000/- in donations. At the Literati event, we were also pleasantly surprised (and grateful) to receive a gift of musical instruments and notebooks from an audience member.

Workshops

We held 'taster workshops' at various children's charities in Goa. The response from the children has been unequivocally enthusiastic, showing us just how much they might enjoy a more streamlined experience in learning music. Our workshops have been conducted at the El Shaddai home and at Children Walking Tall.
